This unique three-footed shallow bowl features a matte black clay body accented by a brilliant red enamel glaze around the lip and inside. Its wide and shallow shape would make it a great summer chawan (matcha bowl) allowing the tea to cool during the warmer months. Made by Tenryo Kiln (天領窯) in Oita.
