This Mino-yaki chawan (matcha bowl) has a classic wan-nari shape with a subtle spiral effect called rokurome (ろくろ目 - pottery wheel marks) made by the potter's fingers as they slide up the cup, shaping it on the pottery wheel. It is a glazed in a deep blue that almost appears black in certain lighting. Made by Morikawa (森川).
