This porcelain Japanese kyusu (teapot) is decorated with a speckled grey glaze, and has a blue motifs of bamboo and villagers.

Compared to a steel mesh filter, this teapot's ceramic debeso (half-spherical) filter introduces no metallic flavours to the tea.
