Vintage handmade Tokoname-yaki side-handle Japanese kyusu (teapot) with a newly fitted fine mesh strainer. The lower, wider shape of this pot is said to be better at preserving texture and umami and allows for more even infusion, as the leaves are more evenly exposed to the hot water. Made by 弦山.
