Japanese Matcha Bowl - Vintage Badarai-gata Chawan

This badarai-gata chawan (matcha bowl) has a low, wide shape, ideal for warm summer months. The semi-translucent milk white glaze is finely crazed with subtle colour variations across the bowl. On the interior, there are a few patches where the glaze has crawled during firing, exposing the clay underneath.
