This beautiful clay mizusashi (water container) features a beige and brown drip-glaze, with a unique lid handle.
A mizusashi (水指 - fresh water container) is used to store fresh water used to refill the kama (釜 - kettle) during a tea ceremony. They are usually made from ceramics, lacquer, or occasionally bare wood.
