This Japanese tea set includes one nasu-gata kyusu (teapot) and four tsutsu-gata yunomi (teacups), each featuring a brown glaze with a translucent white overglaze and decorated with uniquely painted blue flowers.

The teapot has a ceramic debeso (half-spherical) filter, which compared to a steel mesh filter, introduces no metallic flavours to the tea.
