This lightly roasted powdered houjicha from Uji and the surrounding Kyoto region has a smooth and rich taste that can be enjoyed straight or paired with milk or milk alternatives. Compared with more heavily roasted houjichas, this tea preserves more of the complexity of the original base tea.
