Eiryoku - Uji Matcha
RishouenCarefully blended from tencha grown in the mountainous heart of Wazuka, this tea whisks into a round and balanced usucha, with deep, vivid aroma and flavour.
Eiryoku (映緑 - Reflecting Green) is ideal for daily usucha and chanoyu practice. It has a slightly darker, toastier aroma and flavour than many of our other Uji matchas which makes it stand out in milk drinks as well.
Uji-no-Mori - Uji Matcha
RishouenThis carefully blended matcha from the steep hills of Wazuka makes for a smooth, verdant, and refreshing usucha with a lasting finish
The name Uji-no-Mori means "Grove of Uji" using an older kanji spelling for "Uji" (莵道の杜)

Shōyō - Uji Matcha
RishouenBlended from hand-picked Samidori, Uji-Hikari, and Asahi tencha from Uji and surrounding regions, this matcha is deep and velvety as usucha, while remaining strong and smooth as koicha.
The name Shōyō means 'Treetop Leaves' (梢葉)

Uta-no-Mori - Uji Matcha
RishouenSkillfully blended from hand-picked Narino, Samidori, Uji-Hikari and Asahi tencha grown in Uji and surrounding areas, this matcha is impressively luscious and powerful, both as usucha and koicha. The majority of the tencha used in this tea comes from Toshio Terakawa-san, who has been praised by the Emperor for his teas. Other tencha in this blend comes from Kiyoharu Tsuji-san, and Fukui-san.
The name Uta-no-Mori means "Forest of Poems" (詩の杜)
