This unique and practical kyusu rest and drying stand was designed by our very own Iwatsuki Yukari in collaboration with Maekawa Junzō, showcasing his clean, elegant, and functional style. These stands support your kyusu and its lid while they dry and drain after washing, and can be used with teapots up to 540ml in capacity. A kyusu can also be rested flat resting on top of the stand to elevate it while brewing or simply for display. In classic Junzō fashion, the minimalistic design still carries hallmarks of hand-crafting, with the subtle rokurome (轆轤目 - pottery wheel marks) adding organic texture to the surface.
