Japanese Incense Starter Kit
This Japanese incense starter kit includes everything you need to begin your journey into the aromatic world of Japanese incense. Included are 22 sticks of 14 different incense blends from Yamadamatsu, one of Japan's most revered incense houses. These sticks span the range from daily burners to complex and powerful high-end sticks. Additionally, we've included an elegant celadon censer and fine, odourless incense ash. While you can burn incense sticks using a stand or holder, we strongly suggest the traditional method of burning in ash as it allows the stick to burn completely, without leaving behind unburnt stubs. On top of this, the classic censer and ash pairing can be used to try more advanced incense techniques, such as soradaki and monkō (which you can learn more about here).
