Japanese Kogo - Ceramic Rabbit Incense Container

This beige ceramic Japanese kogo (incense container) has been molded in the shape of a rabbit.

In Japanese tea ceremony, wooden and lacquer kogo are used to hold wood chip incense during the furo (brazier - summer/spring) season while ceramic kogo are used to hold neriko (kneaded incense) during the ro (hearth - autumn/winter) season.

Dimensions:

5cm (2in) - width
5.8cm (2.3in) - height

Condition: Good (chips and wear on its exterior)
