This small vintage handmade chawan (matcha bowl) is made in the Hantsutsu-gata (half-cylindrical) shape, but when viewed from above, it takes the shape of a plum blossom. Its spiralling, striated blue and white glaze is further decorated with plum branches and white plum blossoms, making it a perfect chawan for the springtime.
