This stunning mizusashi (water container) is made in the shape of a bamboo node, and features a beige and green drip-glaze.

A mizusashi (水指 - fresh water container) is used to store fresh water used to refill the kama (釜 - kettle) during a tea ceremony. They are usually made from ceramics, lacquer, or occasionally bare wood.
