This set of five Agano-yaki guinomi (small teacups) each feature a brown/purple and green glaze over their lip.
Agano-yaki (上野焼) is a type of Japanese pottery that traditionally comes from Fukuchi in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. Praised for its elegance and light weight, Agano ware began being produced in the 17th century.
