This Mino-yaki porcelain houhin (handleless teapot) has a deep shape and a pure white colour that accentuates the colour of the tea leaves. To aid in filtering and pouring, deep grooves are carved into the wall leading to the spout.
Houhin are ideal vessel for brewing small amounts of high-grade sencha and gyokuro.
