This Akahada-yaki tsutsu-gata yunomi (teacup) features hand-painted images of a temple and ancient people. The style of painting is know as Nara-e and is associated with Akahada-yaki which is produced in Nara prefecture, Japan.

This teacup is stamped 赤膚山 (Akahadayama), a traditional stamp of Akahada-yaki
