In this matcha gift set you'll find four of our highest quality specialty matchas, representing some of Japan's finest single origin and blended teas. Here, we're showcasing two extremely high quality single origin matchas along side two fantastic blends.

While terms like ‘ceremonial grade’ are mere marketing myths, we wouldn’t hesitate to serve any of these as koicha or usucha in a formal temae.

These four cans come in a wooden box for a classy presentation, making this the perfect gift for any matcha connoisseur.

To experience the many flavours of matcha, the four matchas included in this set each have a different taste profile:

  • 20g Uji Samidori: a soft and silky tea made from hand-picked, straw-shaded tencha
  • 20g Yame Kuradashi: a luscious and decadent matcha, ground from hand-picked, straw-shaded tencha that was aged for two years.
  • 30g Uji-no-Mori: a verdant and refreshing blend of tencha from around the Uji region
  • 30g Uta-no-Mori: a luscious and powerful blend of hand-picked Uji tencha, including some from Emperor-recognised gardens; our highest-quality matcha blend
